UPtoberfest is the U.P.'s first and only wine and beer festival, held on the beautiful lakefront in downtown Escanaba, MI. 2011 marks the fifth year of the festival, and we hope the most successful as well! This is the third year that the festival is being organized by Escanaba's homebrew club, the Bay de Noc Brewers. They are bringing a wealth of knowledge about beer, homebrewing and festivals to the event as well as volunteering all of their time and efforts. This year the focus of UPtoberfest is to keep it local! All beer and wine will be from Michigan, with the majority of it being from the U.P. and northern Lower Peninsula. All proceeds from UPtoberfest benefit The United Way of Delta County.
